Milchstrasse — German for Milky Way — is a Vienna-based electronic and ambient project that reaches for something vast. The music is expansive and patient, built from slowly evolving textures and the kind of deep-space atmospherics that make time feel elastic.
Rooted in the traditions of kosmische Musik and contemporary ambient electronics, Milchstrasse creates sonic environments that feel simultaneously distant and intimate — music made for long nights and open skies.
Part of the Flaredust Records family since the label’s early days, Milchstrasse represents a core thread in the label’s identity: music that refuses to hurry.
