Biography
In The Cornfields is a Vienna-based lo-fi instrumental guitar project that finds beauty in the quiet and the understated. Drawing from ambient, folk and cinematic traditions, the music evokes wide-open spaces, long drives and the stillness between moments.
Sparse guitar lines, field recordings and subtle textures come together in a sound that is intimate and unhurried — music made for listening alone, or sharing in comfortable silence.
Released through Flaredust Records, the project’s catalog offers a gentle counterpoint to the label’s heavier sounds — pastoral, patient and deeply felt.
