Biography
Cuticula is a Vienna-based electronic artist whose work draws from electronica, beats, hip-hop, ambient and experimental sound design. Influences range from RZA and DJ Premier to Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Autechre.
Releases on Flaredust Records showcase a meticulous approach to production — each track carefully crafted to evoke specific emotional and spatial states. Music has been featured in contemporary performances, art installations and a short film soundtrack (Monologue).
Live, Cuticula has supported artists including D.R.U.G.S, Becoming Real and Few Nolder, and performed as part of Metaxis, a live electronic group.
